I just watched an evolution video about the old 2000's game i used to play, Not gonna lie, it made me nostalgic
But also it was enough to make boot up some of those revamped, or legacy servers that kinda revive the game
Oh boy, it got me full of nostalgia. Specially because it did it so right before any of the collabs that eventually muddied the game
It still had that early 2000's web comic flash aesthetic. And it was fun, because it held the original audios, the original sprites. And it felt so weird seeing it all run smoothly at 60 fps
And visitng each place and site game me goosebumps, it was very fun and nostalgic, reminds me much of the times I used to play in my shitty hp laptop
Back in the day, I remember playing it because it was very fun playing the minigames, most of my time I was just in the minigames, because my wifi was utterly trash, It was really common that it kept loading and loading and loading.
I think that's why I frecuently went to the end row of the least populated servers, it was just smoother, or sometimes the only way to play it.
And I remembered something weird that happened once, I don't know if it was true. Chances are not, but whatever. I think the guy was just messing with me... maybe?
Okay so the thing goes that I was just playing the minigames, cant recall which one, i think it was one with the puffs mascots
And, I lied, I wasn't like completely antisocial, I made like a couple of penguin friends. Sometimes only for the cosmetics, specially the membership cosmetics
But I remember I used to like, play with some probably 9 year old child, I mean, it was fun. But usually conversations would go like, hey nice outfit, add me. And I would ignore it. SOMETIMES, just asking things about the event, or going into the minigame secrets and events.
That's usually the way I got to talk to people, and also hang a bit, because the low players in the servers kinda added that sense of ownership or friendship over the whole island
And I got to remember this dude, now, it's kinda weird, but I remember, just getting out of a game and the guy just appearing there, like in the same place.
It was like a very default green penguin no cosmetics nothing. The guy, can't recall it's name, for the love of my dear life, I can't even try. Let's just call him randy, alright.

Pretty much that is all, a simple greeting, And I... I didn't say shit, lol. I mean, I didn't really cared. I just walked off him, and went to another part of the island, I don't remember if I was looking for easter eggs on the island, or for some wied reason I was just walking. Maybe the easter egg, cuz, it was common for season.
But the guy was following me, like, every zone I went, if he found me, he would keep on following me, Again, didn't pay attention to him. He even sent a friend request.
Used to it, but again, ignored him, Now, I remember vividly that I went to the mines minigame, and after finishing it, the guy was there, like standing still.
He typed, something like, "please don't go" or some shit like that. So I obviously just walked pass him.
and in the next zone he just typed my user, I think this was on the store, so I was checking clothes, and I didn't move, and so the guy typed my user, which... not gonna lie, wasn't any great.
I think it was like agent007 or sum shit like that, funny thing because I've never watched a james bond movie, in my fucking life lol.
Anyways, so this guy was going and going, I remember I stood there and threw a snowball at him, and he said something in like "I wanna tell you something." I wasn't very used to chatting in english, most of my friends I spoke to was spanish.
I replied something like, "hello?"
He took a moment to reply, and i almost left, before his next message came, randy said something like "I wanna tell you something."
I think I answered "friends?" or something, again, not very confortable talking in english, which was not even near a good level in what was elementary school.
I accepted his friend request before he followed up with.
